Taking another step to make Udaipur a smart city, the administration has decided to introduce adventure sports in the city. Three sites in Udaipur and different locations have been selected. The proposal for the same has been sent to the government.

Sumita Saroch, Deputy Director of the Tourism Dept. informed that, the Badi lake area would be developed as a point of water sports. The other areas of Udaipur such as Sajjangarh and Rajiv Gandhi Park are also selected for adventure sports as many people can accommodate at the same time. Keeping the security as prime motive, professional sports companies will be hired to carry out the water sports and adventure activities.

Water sports such as water scooter ride and banana boat ride, para sailing and para motoring etc. will be included. At Sajjangarh, tourists can experience mount trekking and mountain biking. Also, the hot air balloon will be available at Rajiv Gandhi Park, Udaipur.
