Udaipur, December 28,2024 - Dense fog disrupted flight operations at Udaipur Airport, causing delays and diversions on multiple routes on Thursday, December 26,2024 morning.

An Indigo flight from Jaipur to Udaipur, scheduled to depart at 8:00 AM, had to return mid-way to Jaipur due to poor visibility. The Mumbai flight, expected to land at 8:05 AM, was diverted to Jaipur. Similarly, a Delhi flight scheduled for the same time was also redirected to Jaipur.

A flight from Indore, set to arrive at 8:40 AM, was turned back to Indore mid-way. Another flight from Mumbai, scheduled to land at 11:30 AM, was first diverted to Jaipur. It eventually landed in Udaipur at 1:15 PM after visibility improved. The Hyderabad flight, expected at 10:30 AM, faced a delay of two hours before landing.

Two additional flights were delayed by 2 to 3 hours and landed only after the fog started to clear.

Passengers faced inconvenience, but flight operations resumed once conditions improved.
