The key accused of the day light murder which took place Savina on November 24 was arrested by the police on Monday.

The accused Amaan Khan resident of Amal ka Kanta area was absconding since he allegedly murdered Ahmed Khan of Murshid Nagar Savina over a prolong dispute related to land and money.

The relatives of the victim registered complaint against Amaan and since then police was searching him, said Deputy Sp Ranu Sharma.

Ahmed was attacked by the accuse Amaan and his men on November 24 while he was sitting at his house, Amaan entered inside the house of Ahmed and after a heated argument, he allegedly attacked him, injured Ahmed fled away on his bike but Aman and after reaching few meters from his house severely injured Ahmed fell down while the accused absconded.

Ahmed was rushed to the MB hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.

On Tuesday the investigating team got the inputs that the accused Amaan is about to leave the city and would reach at Udiapol to take a bus,upon getting the information from the sources the team raided the area, seeing the police team the accused tired to escape from the scene but caught hold by the cops and rushed to the Goverdhan Vilas police station, Sharma added.

The accused had been booked under charge of murder .
