A 30 year old man succumbed to his injuries during treatment after being assaulted by group of unknown people. The victim Jitendra was rushed to a private hospital on Sunday night of 28^th Feb with severe head injuries.

Immediately after his death on 3^rd March, relatives of the deceased staged protest outside the mortuary and demanded compensation, the relatives alleged that the death occurred due to negligence of doctors and hospital staff in treatment.

The protestors also demanded immediate arrest of all the accused who assaulted Jitendra outside his house on Sunday.

According to sources, a group of men were quarreling outside Jitendra house and when Jitendra interrupted and asked them to go away they all went but soon returned back with sharp weapons and attacked Jitendra.

The victim was rushed to a private hospital where he got primary medicines and bandage before getting discharged, from next day the condition of the victim started deteriorating and the relatives rushed him to MB Hospital on Wednesday.

SHO Hiran Magri and Tehsildar Girwa rushed to the spot and convinced protestors to take the body of last rites, the administrative official also promised compensation.
