Taziya procession all set, Muslims vow to cooperate Administration

Vikas Bhale, District Collector, Mohammad Yaseen Pathan, ADM City, Tej Raj Singh, ADSP City , Kalu Ram Rawat, ADSP Head Quarter, Dayanand Saran, DYSP West Anant Kumar, DYSP North Mahendra Singh, DYSP Traffic and Circle Heads of all police stations were present in the meeting.
Representatives of the Muslim Community attending the meeting, included Zahir Husain, Chief Secretary Minority Front Udaipur; Jaan Mohammad, Sadar Kuam Nayakan; Sabir Qureshi, Secretary Nau Jawan Intezamia Committee; Rahim Baksh Patel, President of N.J.I.C.; Nazar Mohammad, Sadar Jagruk Mevafarosh Group.
ADSP City Tejraj Singh said, “All the License Holders have to provide the names of everyone who will participate in lifting the Taziyas, anyone whose name is not listed, will not be allowed to lift Taziya”.
Another important decision revealed in the meeting as mentioned by ADSP Singh was, “Muslim leaders have taken the decision of discontinuation of the Chhari Milan Custom from this year onwards”.
Administration appreciated such noble concern by Muslim Community. Chhari Milan was followed by the Mevafarosh and Nayak Community from more than 100 years.
Tejraj Singh, informed UT, “from our side we will be all set tomorrow and during the procession there will be an arrangement of more than six hundred police men, along with reserved police force and police commandos, other than this, a cameramen will be made available with each DYSP”.
“Moreover, spy cameras will be installed at different place in route of the Taziya procession i.e. from Dhan Mandi till Lal Gaht, to keep an eye on the wrong doers and we will try our level best to maintain peace and safety during the procession”, ensured Singh.
In the other scene, the members of the Faiz-e-Hussani Committee and Paltan Masjid were given relief as three of the accused involved in the assault on the day of Chhari Procession were arrested by the police today.
