11 ft. long Female Python rescued from Saheli Nagar

The incidence of movement of the snakes towards the residential areas are very common these days specially in the monsoon season when their homes (holes) get filled with rain water.
In such a condition they move away from the holes towards the residential areas where they can easily get food as well as shelter either in the backyards or warehouses.
A similar incidence came in light from Saheli Nagar area at wee hours on Sunday night when an eleven feet long female Python entered a house.
According to Padam Singh Rathore, the residents of the area immediately informed the team of Wild Animal Rescue Society upon which he and his team rushed to the area and initiated the rescue operation. Within few minutes of efforts the rescue team succeeded in rescuing the Python and later that night released her in a safe environment in the presence of the forest department.
