With the Monsoon rains starting to hit the city, cases of Snake Rescue has also increased in the region. For the obvious reasons, sighting of snakes has increased in both rural and urban areas.

In the last week itself, total of 37 snakes were rescued from homes and left in safe forest regions. Also, cases of snake bites have increased. Right now, nearly 25 patients in government hospitals are admitted for the same.

Chaman Singh, rescuer and expert snake catcher has trained 15 volunteers and has deployed them in distant regions of Udaipur to deal with any information of Snake sighting. He has urged all to contact Wild Animal Rescue and try not to harm, if anyone sees snake or other wild animal in their premises.
