Jackal rescued from 20 ft. deep well
A rescue operation took place at Khara Khunwa area on Saturday after a matured jackal fell into a 20 ft. deep open well situated near a residential colony.
A rescue operation took place at Khara Khunwa area on Saturday after a matured jackal fell into a 20 ft. deep open well situated near a residential colony.
The locals of the area first attempted to pull it out of the well but after failed efforts contacted Padam Singh Rathore of Wild & Street Animal Rescue Society who immediately rushed to the scene with the rescue team and initiated the operation.
During the operation, one of the team members Arvind, jumped inside the well in support of a rope and pulled the jackal out.
Padam Singh Rathore while talking to UT informed that the rescued animal was later shifted to the biological park as per the instructions of the District Forest Officer T. Mohan.
