A leopard cub was found at Barothi jungle of Parsad village which is 35-40 kms away from Udaipur. The villagers found the 3.5 months old leopard lying in a channel and called the Forest Department officers of Sarada. 

The rescue team comprising of Ram Singh, Satnam Singh, Lal Singh and Padam Singh along with Forest Department officers reached the jungle and spotted the leopard. Upon reaching the animal, it was found that its right hind leg was wounded. The rescue team tantalized the animal, put it in the cage and took to hospital fro treatment at Chetak Circle.

The leopard cub will be kept under treatment at Gulab Bagh for recovery. After recovered, it will be sent back to its natural habitat.
