Rare snake bites 21-year-old village girl
A rarely found Common Krait has bitten a 21-year-old girl from village Naya Guda last night. The victim was rushed to MB Hospital where her condition is said to be stable.
A rarely found Common Krait has bitten a 21-year-old girl from village Naya Guda last night. The victim was rushed to MB Hospital where her condition is said to be stable.
Snake catcher Padam Singh Rathod, founder, Wild and Street Animal Rescue Society timely responded on the location and caught the snake. According to Rathod, the girl was bitten by snake Common Krait (Bungarus caeruius) which is rarely found in Udaipur and known as a venomous reptile.
As an expert, Padam Singh advised that in the monsoon season people who live near green fields or forest should avoid sleeping on the floor and should be aware while walking in the garden or farms.
In case of a snake bite, victim should be rushed to the hospital or call 9829597722.
