A 2 and half year old female leopard was found in awful physical condition in a farm at Zawar Mines area. After getting information from the villagers, the forest officials rescued the leopard and shifted it to the veterinary hospital, Udaipu

A 2 and half year old female leopard was found in awful physical condition in a farm at Zawar Mines area. After getting information from the villagers, the forest officials rescued the leopard and shifted it to the veterinary hospital, Udaipur.

Starving leopard rescued from Zawar Mines

The leopard was first seen lying beside the wall of a farm at Village Madera. Forest officer Shamboo Singh with his team rushed to the area and verified the situation. The officers noted that the animal was deliberately weak due to possible starvation.

Hence the rescue team decided to tranquilize the animal and sent to the veterinary hospital at Udaipur.
