Two Wild animals rescued
Two wild animals including a Palm Civet (Bijju) and a Python were caught and rescued by the team of Animal Rescue Society in association of Forest Department.
Two wild animals including a Palm Civet (Bijju) and a Python were caught and rescued by the team of Animal Rescue Society in association of Forest Department.
Padam Singh Rathore, founder of the society informed that a Palm Civet was found near Sahliyon ki Badi area. The animal somehow got inside a handicraft showroom. Padam Singh and his team under the direction of T. Mohan (forest official) caught the Palm Civet and sent it to the Sajjangarh Biological Park.
On the same day a python was found at Parola Village near Udaipur. Singh with Riyaz Khan, Rajendra Parihar, Suresh Chobisa and Jitendra Singh of Forest Department rescued the snake. The snake was later left free in Bagdarra Nature Park.
Padam Singh has appealed to the people of Udaipur to not to harm any wild animal if they see it in their vicinity and instead call on the helpline numbers immediately. One may contact the rescue team at 9829597722 or 9414234826.
